Meet Stockholm events in May 2026
May is when the community really started organising itself. Members put up live jazz at Twang, standup at Comedy Nation, an acoustic guitar night at Temple Bar, two improv nights at Pygméteatern, and a spring market out in Bergshamra. As soon as the weather turned there were picnics in Tantolunden and a BBQ at Smedsudden, plus running, padel, a Natalie Imbruglia concert at Gröna Lund and the season opener at Trädgården.

Hey beautiful people, On May 30 I am organising an improv show and I would love to see some friendly familiar faces in the audience to help inspire the show and throw the actors on side adventures they didn't think they were gonna go on. We kick off the evening with a pre-show mingle hosted by our very own Risha. After the show you're very welcome to stay too to just hang out or play games. Last time we had a good bunch of people from this group show up and the pre-show mingle looked like a lot of fun! Program: 17:30 Doors open + pre-show mingle with Risha. 19:00 It Seems Commonplace, but it isn't - the improvised play 20:45 - late - the bar is open until at least 23:30. Stay and hang out or play games. There is also a storytelling event going on stage from 21 that you can check out. With the weather looking great, it’s the perfect excuse to head outside and enjoy the sunshine together. We’ll be set up and ready to go starting from 12:30.
