A community for building a social life in Stockholm.
Meet Stockholm brings together locals and newcomers who want to meet people, spend time together, and make things happen in the city.
Whether you’ve just moved here, returned after time away, or lived here all along, you’re welcome to join. The community includes native Swedes and people from around the world. English is our common language, and plenty of Swedish gets spoken too.

Made by the people who join
Most activities are organized by members themselves. Someone suggests a plan, others join in, and a get-together takes shape.
That might mean fika, a night out, karaoke, sports, a walk, a museum visit, or a day trip. Our Thursday pub gathering is one recurring fixture among many, bringing regulars and newcomers together in Gamla Stan every other week.
Meet Stockholm lives both online and in person. WhatsApp helps members connect, share ideas, and organize activities. Those conversations lead to people meeting across the city—and making plans to see each other again.
You can come along to something that interests you, suggest an activity, or help organize one. Members’ interests and initiative shape what happens next.
Who’s behind Meet Stockholm?
I’m Tristan Rune Gyllensvärd-Jülich, the founder of Meet Stockholm. I continue to develop it and, together with a small volunteer team, help keep the community running. Members bring their own ideas and activities to life.
I’m building Meet Stockholm to be a hub for all kinds of people and activities. Stockholm can feel divided into thousands of small groups, with doors that aren’t always easy to open. It can be hard to find your way in. People in different groups can have plenty in common and still never meet.
I want everyone to find community, to find their people, whatever they’re looking for. What happens if we open those doors and connect all Stockholmers?
For a thousand flowers to bloom, we need to find each other first. Let’s bring Stockholm to life for everyone!

Joining the community is free.
For people who want to help fund the work behind it, we offer an optional supporting membership at 70 SEK per month. It helps cover the systems, tools, and organization that keep the community running, and includes an event map, partner-venue discounts, and a digital membership card.
Everyone is welcome to participate, whether or not they choose to support financially.
