Meet Stockholm events in August 2026
August was the fullest month yet, with more than twenty events. Weekends went to hikes and swims around Vaxholm, Björnö and Lidingö, dog walks at Långholmen and the mountain coaster at Hammarbybacken. Weekday evenings covered rooftop drinks at Slaktterrassen, after-works at Parken Söder, TAK and Temple Bar, live music at ALMA, an acoustic jam at Kornhamnstorg, a belly dance class, Swedish-language improv, a study session for the citizenship test, and two send-offs for summer at Trädgården.

Hike near Vaxholm (Stora Slottsrundan)

I'm thinking about combining Stora Slottsrundan and Askrikerundan (12-13km), unless people want to stick to the 8km hike. The busses leave from Tekniska Högskolan every hour and travel time is roughly an hour, I was thinking that we could meet there at 9.30.
